Prosperity on the web is possible, if you have the right tools to help you. Today, with all of the web 2.0 sites like Youtube, Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter, it’s easy to get your information out to the masses. Social sites also allows to to connect, and stay connected, to your family and friends. So, how do you get started to build prosperity on the web?

If you’re like most novice Internet marketers, you would start with Facebook or Myspace. Although those are truly active and popular sites, they may not be the best sites for promoting your business. The two previously mentioned sites are great for family and fun, but if you’re trying t build an online business, or make your mark known, I prefer sites link Ning, Ojeez, or Veretekk.

Ning is a great place to talk about your products and or services and a place to get connected to like minded business professionals. If you can’t tell there’s a lot of excitement (or maybe just hype to get me to join) from the email, let me point it out. First of all, it doesn’t take a genius to see that the words used in the email are your typical, "come join me in my business and you will make lots of money", words. If you don’t see them, let me point them out; FAST, REAL SPILLOVER, RECURRING INCOME, FOREVER, MUST-JOIN, long-term income, UNLIMITED, (and my all time favorite line) you’re losing commissions every second you wait! I’m sure you’ve heard this type of non-sense before.

This is what gives the network marketing and Internet marketing industry a bad name, nothing but HYPE. I’m so sick and tired of this that at times it turns me off. It’s one thing to be excited and totally something else to hype up a business that is only getting started. I’m excited about a lot of things in life, but when I see an email like this it takes some of that excitement away from an industry that can make you a nice living.

AMAZING! “THE MOST SPECTACULAR OPPORTUNITY, a record number of members enrolling since Christmas Day, free position, a NEW company offering a suite of services, and a forced matrix compensation plan,” all within one opportunity. And did you know, it’s also a REAL company! YIKES! FINALLY, a REAL company where one can join and make money, or can you?

When I see these emails, it just makes me sick. Another person being sold on the “don’t miss out or you’ll be sorry” lie. Is that really the way to make money on the Internet? Is that something you really want to follow? Don’t the people at the top make all the money? And a “FORCED MATRIX,” now doesn’t that just make you all warm and fuzzy inside?

After further review of the WebProsperity business opportunity, I find many similarities to a system that I have been using for 2+ years, Veretekk. I find it quite interesting that the principle of WebProsperity, was a member of the Veretekk system. Now you don’t think he “borrowed” information he gained from the Veretekk community to build this system, do you? NO, that wouldn’t be ethical, would it? Maybe it’s just a coincidence!

Well I’m not about to switch from what has been called the “aircraft carrier” into a dingy. I don’t think my fleet of aircraft would fit into a dingy anyway. It would sink, which is what happens to the majority of new start-up companies, and I beleive WebProsperity will follow suit.
