Part of building web prosperity is getting your web site noticed on Google. However, it does not take a degree in marketing or search engine optimization, but it does take a degree of effort on your part. Google does not just go out, find your site and rank it in the number one position just because it looks great. As a matter of fact, a lot of great looking web sites will never be found when doing searches.

One means of search engine optimization (SEO) that works really well is blog posting. Although exceptional results are achievable, consistency is the key. You must post to your blog on a consistent basis, daily works best. That said, once you’ve reached that targeted position on Google (for your keyword), posting once a week seems to maintain the position you have achieved.

Since Google takes back links into consideration when choosing which sites to rank higher than others, back links play an important part.

Not only will the additional back links increase your ranking on Google, they can also produce more traffic to your web site. People reading a well written article tend to click on the link to learn more. A lot of visitors will either return to your site to get additional information, or send the link to a friend or family member they know has been looking for the information you are providing. Traffic is a key element to building prosperity on the web.

Blogs are a great resource when it comes to SEO, and blogs can cover a plethora of industries. Blogs do not have to take a lot of time, once they are setup, and the initial postings have been put in place. However, when it comes to web prosperity, as mentioned before, consistency is very important. Posting to your blog on a consistent basis can lead to Internet success.

There are a lot of ways to generate posts. However, one of the easiest, that I’ve found, is to comment on articles that I’ve read. This form of editorializing works really well, as long as you give credit to the original author. It’s also a great way for someone new at blog posting to get started.

Building prosperity on the web is NOT rocket science. However, it does take time to develop a niche that may produce a nice recurring income. I’ve written many articles, for both this blog and article directories, on what it takes to build prosperity on the web, and what I despise the most. So it’s nothing new that I hate scams.

One of my main focuses, and something I promote on a daily basis, is building prosperity with a legitimate health and wellness business, and using a web prosperity system, like Veretekk, to promote that business.

Being in the health and wellness industry I spend a lot of time writing about weight loss and a weight loss program by TriVita, called Leanology™. So when I find articles about outrageous weight loss claims and see negative media coverage on possible scams regarding weight loss products, it gets my glands in an uproar.

When it comes to weigh loss, people are typically looking for an easy way to reduce their weight. I’ve written about this before, so let me reiterate: there is no easy weight loss program. Permanent weight loss only comes by making a lifestyle change to both your diet and, the weight you lose, is in direct proportion to your physical activity (exercise).

If you do find a weight loss program that offers you immediate or FAST results without doing any exercise or changing the way you eat, chances are, it DOES NOT work. Most weight loss programs are not only very costly but most become boring after a short period of time. Many times, it’s a lack of excitement (or the weight isn’t coming off fast enough) that makes people quit and go back to what they were doing before they started the program.

One weight loss program that has been receiving a lot of attention lately is the Acai Berry Diet, and most of the attention this program has been receiving is negative. Since this program has been receiving lots of media attention, and it’s something that I’m passionate about, a closer look into acai berry, and its weight loss claims, is starting to reveal that most of the outrageous claims simply are NOT true.

What’s the problem with the acai berry diet program? At first, the Acai Berry Diet became admired in the market because it claimed to help people lose weight by taking an acai pill and/or acai drink on a regular basis. It offered an effective method to lose weight at an affordable price, and it was a great way for Internet marketers to make money and become prosperous on the web. However, this all lead to their claim that "a person who is on such a kind of diet has guaranteed weight loss results in a short time."

According to David Schardt, senior nutritionist for the Center for Science in the Public Interest, says "in terms of weight loss there’s no reason why a fruit like that (acai) would have any particular effect." [1]

The acai berry has also been labeled as the fruit that is "loaded of antioxidants", and that, according to some of the companies promoting the acai product, is the "major factor that helps to reduce weight." It has also been mentioned that the acai berry "enhances your metabolism which aids to burn the extra fat stored in your body."

The acai berry stormed into the marketplace, especially on the Internet, and has made this a widespread, rampant marketing scam (although some still think it’s a way to become prosperous on the web). There are "ads everywhere now: acai for weight loss, acai for sexual dysfunction, acai for cancer, acai with a free trial that can cost hundreds of dollars and leave you on hold for hours trying to stop more charges."

Building web prosperity by selling a "self-proclaimed" diet pill, was once the main focus. However, it’s the acai scam aspect that has taken the focus off the actual scientific facts of this fruit.

There are so many complaints over the companies promoting and selling this so called, weight loss, pill that back in March 2009, the "attorney general of Connecticut, Richard Blumenthal, and the Center for Science in the Public Interest will issue a warning about credit card schemes peddling supplements made from the acai berry."

The marketing scam has also gotten the Better Business Bureau (BBB) involved in trying to stop, what is called a "negative option" advertising scheme. According to Steve Cox, a BBB spokesman, "BBB [the Better Business Bureau] can’t speak to the restorative or weight-loss properties of acai-based products, but we are taking companies to task for their misleading sales and marketing practices." [1]

Misleading marketing practices that lead to sales WILL NOT sustain your online business in the long term, and surely will not lead to web prosperity. As a matter of fact, it’s this type of manipulation that give the Internet and some of the online marketers bad names.

Web prosperity does not come overnight, nor does it come from taking advantage of people. Web prosperity comes through hard work, determination, and a legitimate business. It is possible to make money on the web by using illegal or unethical practices, however, it will never last. Furthermore, with the plethora of information available on the web, ALL scams, scammers, and illegal marketing schemes WILL be found. There is no hiding when it comes to the Internet.

Times have changed but the so-called online marketers are still trying to build web prosperity by using shortcuts. I received a phone call today and low and behold, it was a recorded message. The message said that I could have hundreds of "red hot" leads calling me. The caller gave me his web site address, and being the inquisitive marketer that I am, I went to the site.

This is the first thing that caught my eye:

WOW! I can finally sit back and relax while hundreds of these "red-hot" prospects start contacting me about my business. Does this stuff work? Can you become prosperous on the web by making a recording, and uploading my contact list? Well, I’ve fallen for other scams and get rich quick schemes, why wouldn’t I fall for this one also?

As I scrolled down the web site, I came to the "simple instructions."

Hey, I’ve got to have this! I want to build my business and I don’t want to work very hard. Ok, I fell for it (well sort of). I signed up (just to get a better look) and was taken to another page on the site. I scrolled down the page and was a little confused, but after some thought…

Ok, so let me see if I got this correct. If I sign up for an iBuzzPro account, upload my contacts phone numbers, are people going to call me to ask me about my business? After all, they say it only takes 3 simple steps and I can build my business in these chaotic economic times, and I’ll have access to millions of FREE customer leads and I’ll get interested customers calling me or visiting my business. REALLY?

Still a little confused, because I don’t want another business to build prosperity on the web, I like my web prosperity system and that’s what I’m going to continue to promote. But on the iBuzzPro site, they want me to sign up for the service and then get other people to sign up. Oh no, not another mlm? Or network marketing company? I just want to promote Veretekk, my web prosperity system. But they want me to pay $27.98 (or is that $500) plus a $50 set up fee, and then $27.98 per month to use their system, with my contacts phone numbers.

I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I think this is just another way to separate me from my hard-earned money. Using a system to call people I know that are not even the least bit interested in a home business sounds a lot like the SPAM emails, just using a different type of media.

I don’t know about you, but went my phone rings, I don’t want to listen to a sales pitch, especially from someone I’ve never met. It’s bad enough that we have to fight SPAM in or email, but now SPAM phone calls? What’s next?

That does not seem like the best way to build prosperity on the web. Although if you’re into taking shortcuts and having hundreds of people calling you (yeah…right), then this may be for you. As for me, I’ll just continue to prosper on the web with Veretekk, my web prosperity system.

Understanding that web prosperity can be achieved is the first step towards achieving it. Next, we must understand that certain procedures must be followed. Just putting a web site (business) on the Internet is not going to bring you customers, let alone prosperity. Lots of traffic, people coming to your site, is needed and we need to convert those people into customers.

You don’t have to look any further than Google, YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter to find examples of ideas that took off. One thing you have to remember; they all have their own niche.

The Internet is loaded with web sites that produce within their niche market. However, there are still plenty of unexplored niches that are waiting to be discovered. Whether it’s a new innovative way to drive traffic to your web site, a new marketing technique, or a bigger and better way to conduct searches, the options are endless.

Is it possible to build web prosperity? Is that something that can be achieved? Yes, now that we have a solid definition of web prosperity. Remember, it’s your definition of web prosperity that will determine if it’s possible for you to prosper on the web.

There are many factors to take into consideration when it comes to building web prosperity. First and foremost, what is the product, service, or business opportunity that you are offering? Since most people relate prosperity to money, it’s important to have the proper product, service, or opportunity to sell or promote. There are many scams and illegal products and/or service, out there, so for the sake of argument, we have to assume that product, service, or business opportunity you are promoting is legal.

If you don’t have a product that you have designed or created, I’ll assume that you’re thinking about selling a product/service designed or created by someone else. If it’s another company’s product/service, have you investigated the company and their principles? Have you done your research? How long has the company been in business? Is it a startup, or do they have a proven track record? Finding out as much as you can about a company and their principles will save you some heartache in the long run.

Real "work from home" business opportunities are in abundance. But, the Internet has become a breeding ground for get-rich-quick schemes. For every real job, there are hundreds of duds. Don’t become another victim. Do your due-diligence!

Secondly, (assuming you found a solid company), how are you planning to promote your business? Do you have a system that you’re going to use to promote your business, products, or services? Have you set up an advertisement budget, or are you going to rely on the search engines, like Google, Yahoo!, and MSN, to bring you customers?

Many new entrepreneurs think if they have a web site and a product or service to sell, people will find their web site and make a purchase; that is not true. Your web site will, most likely, wind up getting lost in the millions of sites that make up the World Wide Web, or Internet. For your site to be found, it will have to be on one of the first two or three pages in the searches for your targeted keyword. Getting to the top of the search engines doesn’t’ happen by chance; it takes the proper system and correct search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to make it to the top.

You can have the best web site, offering the greatest products or services, or have the best business opportunity in the world, but if people can’t find you, what good is it? That’s where having the proper system that gets you the results you’re looking for comes in. Having a system that will help you achieve prosperity on the web, is what it takes. Web Prosperity can be defined by two words, "Internet Success." However, that definition may not be fitting for our purpose because people define success in different ways. Success, by nature, is defined by each individual. How do you define success?

I’ve heard some search engine optimization experts calling it a success when they get their web site to the top of Google. On the other hand, I’ve heard an Internet novice say that getting his web site to show up was a success. You see, success is personal. There is NO global or world wide web, definition of success. Success has many definitions. So when it comes to defining web prosperity, Internet Success may not be the correct definition.

According to Dr. Charles Stanley’s book, Success God’s Way[1], success is defined as, "the continuing achievement of becoming the person God wants you to be and accomplishing the goals God has helped you set." A great definition of success, but does it fit into the realm of what web prosperity really is? Some readers of this book may not believe that there is a God, so they would have a hard time believing that God plays a part in their success. And from the perspective of that definition, non-believers cannot genuinely be successful.

Dr. Stanley says that "the ungodly are defining their lives according to their lusts, desires and purposes rather than seeking to line up their lives with God’s desires, plans, and purposes. People cannot be successful from God’s viewpoint and leave God out of their lives."

So is it possible for the non-believer, or ungodly person, to be successful? Absolutely! It just means that when it comes to success, the processes and purposes of the self-focused person is different than that of the God-focused person. The God-focused person begins with God’s plans and purpose, while the self-focused person begins with self-gratification, self-definition, and self-made goals.

The reason I have to mention this is because when it comes to web prosperity, or success, you have to understand where the definition is coming from. Most self-focused individuals that are interested with success measure it with money, awards, and material things, all things that are an outward expression. On the other hand, God-focused individuals who are concerned with success, look at it as coming from within. Dr. Stanley says it is "defined in terms of eternal purpose, spiritual benefits, godly character, abiding satisfaction and fulfillment, and obedience to God’s commandments and daily directives."

Success can be defined in so many different ways, and not everyone will have the same definition. The definition will be different if it’s based on the perspective of coming from within or if it’s an outward expression, spiritually or monetarily. Money is a part of success, or prosperity, but only a small part. In fact, many preachers and teachers on God’s Word, when talking about money say, "money is the lowest form of prosperity."

According to Tom Brown, Pastor of Word of Life Church, "there are definite limitations to money. Money is not inherently evil, but neither is it inherently good. Money is amoral. It is only an instrument. You can use it for good, or you can use it for evil. But its power is definitely weak. True power lies in our faith in God. Nothing is impossible for him who believes. True prosperity is the ability to use God’s power to meet the needs of mankind in any realm of life."[2]

Can you see how the terms success and prosperity can take on different meanings? It all comes from the person defining those terms. How do you define success or prosperity? Once you define success or prosperity, you will have found the answer; so what is Web Prosperity?

What’s happening with the Web Prosperity system? Are they loosing their edge? Web Prosperity continues to struggle with their Alexa ranking, products, and top recruiters. Let’s take a look at all three!

We’ll first start with the Alexa ranking. Back on January 5, 2009 the Alexa ranking for Web Prosperity was closing in on 200 million. Since that time, it started to drop. Then around January 13, 2009, it jumped back up to around 180 million. But since that time, Web Prosperity has dropped down to around 18 million.

Web Prosperity’s products have also been getting a lot of negative feedback. From what I’ve read, it seems that some of the products are not what they were hyped up to be.

Since Web Prosperity was launched I have been assessing the tools that are on offer and one of the biggest disappointments so far is the limitations of the autoresponder service.

What is more annoying at this point is the lack of flexibility with the Web Prosperity autoresponder. The web form is very limited and I would certainly like to see it much more customizable so that it integrates more easily with a broad range of marketing pieces.

It seemed in prelaunch that this was going to be a great Internet marketing tool kit for use in whatever I choose to market. But, not so good! These tools seem unusable outside of promoting WebProsperity’s MLM. And in that, the business opportunity becomes just a shallow money game which will obviously implode upon itself rather quickly."

One of the major players in the Web Prosperity opportunity is Stone Evans, aliases Jeffrey Stone Evans and Mark Wise. I was sent a link to a .pdf file on the Federal Trade Commission’s web site by a friend. In the .pdf file, an injunction by the FTC, you will see that Stone Evans (Jeffrey Stone Evans) apparently, has a permanent injunction from participating in any type of pyramid scheme. According to some web sites, Web Prosperity is just that, a "pyramid scheme."

Another site I’ve visited in the past was Alan Mater’s. Just last week, I visited a his Web Prosperity web site and noticed he took down a video, he had uploaded to YouTube.com. Today, Saturday, February 7, 2009, that site, http://www.replaceyoursalary.com/work-from-home-blog/work-from-home/web-prosperity-scam-or-internet-success-system, is taken down. I wonder what’s happening with all these self-proclaimed, Internet marketing/network marketing experts (the ones jumping from one opportunity to another). Could it be they had the wrong impression of Web Prosperity? Did they get scammed at their own game? Did they realize they were involved in something that is illegal?

So that brings us back to the questions, what’s happening with Web Prosperity, the so called, "most powerful, income-generating Internet Business opportunity anyone has ever seen in the history of this industry?" Is it a legit business opportunity, one that is sure to bring the average person prosperity on the web? Or is it a "pyramid scheme." that is loosing face within the rank and file? I guess you will have to be the judge.

I write this article in the hopes of making people aware of the possibility that Web Prosperity may be a scam. I’m not involved in this opportunity, not because of the things I read, but rather the people who are promoting it. I haven’t found many good articles on the people at the top of this organization. I have also seen too many, let’s call them, weird things happening.

I’m just going to remain focused on promoting my Web Prosperity System, Veretekk. I know this system is legit and it will continue make me money as long as I stay the course.

I had to take a short break from promoting my web prosperity system to comment on the global launch of Web Prosperity. This is an editorial by me and it’s just my opinion.

Web Prosperity is getting ready for the Global launch, February 1, 2009, tomorrow. If you are planning on joining this opportunity, you may want to reconsider. I found another post on scam.com and the author states that some retired high level investigators are looking into the pasts of the top level players and the founder, David D’arcangelo.

Here is a quote from that post:

"There are several retired high level investigators digging into the pasts of the top level players and Darcangelo. We will see what that reveals.

The comp plan clearly violates law in a dozen states and FTC as well as Australian law.

Many are already filing complaints with the FTC, etc. "

I don’t know any of the top level players or the founder, but I do understand the laws and what I read. To me, Web Prosperity is not a business that I would get involved with. There are just too many red flags flying around that opportunity. I may reconsider once the dust settles, but at this time, I would stay away.

This is just my opinion, and being around the block, once or twice, I don’t feel very comfortable with the opportunity. With that said, if you’re planning on getting involved with Web Prosperity, I wish you luck and I hope I’m wrong.

Okay, I’ll just go back to promoting my web prosperity system, Veretekk. The more I use Veretekk the more I learn about it, and the more powerful it becomes. As I’ve mentioned several times before, prospering on the web takes time, effort, and a system that does the job. And that system is Veretekk.
